01 — MOBILE & LOCATION

Location intelligence.
Beyond the blue dot.

Primary ownership of the enterprise Android Geofencing SDK and its open-source core. Background tracking, beacon monitoring and location filtering built to handle the conditions real devices encounter.

Extended the ecosystem through Flutter, React Native and Expo integrations, with compatibility and release automation built in.

02 — CLOUD & DATA

Data that keeps moving.

Designed and owned a multi-business POI import pipeline and configuration service. Incremental processing, strict validation, isolated failures and crash recovery keep international location datasets useful.

AI with a connection to reality.

Connected a Bedrock conversational assistant to live location and transit services. Expanded the Woosmap MCP server with route, toll and distance-matrix tools, refining schemas and responses for efficient use.

Making complex places navigable.

Helped build the Indoor API: routing profiles, multi-building venue models, search and wayfinding. Brought positioning, maps and spoken directions together in the Android demo app, alongside tooling for Apple IMDF packages.

I’ve spent more than two decades building software, leading engineering teams and translating business problems into working products.

My path runs from enterprise applications and the Zoomin mobile app to indoor navigation, cloud platforms and location-aware AI. I work with teams across Europe, the US and APAC.

Off the clock? Still tinkering. Lately, an Android Auto app for my own car. Some habits follow you everywhere.
